Chop Tomatoes
Dice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Mince Garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with tomatoes.

Add Basil
Rinse the fresh basil leaves, chop them roughly, and add to the bowl.

Season the Mixture
Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture and season with salt and black pepper. Stir gently to combine.

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.

Top the Toast
Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously over each slice.
