Preparing the Gnocchi

Cook the Gnocchi
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potato gnocchi and cook until they float to the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain. Set aside.
Preparing the Mushroom Mixture

Sauté the Mushrooms
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the wild mushrooms, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and golden brown.
Combining and Serving

Combine Gnocchi and Mushroom Mixture
Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet with the mushroom mixture. Gently toss to combine and heat through for 2-3 minutes.

Serve
Plate the sautéed gnocchi with mushrooms, then top with grated aged Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
