Bread Pudding
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine the cubed French bread, white chocolate chips, and blueberries. Set aside.
- 2
Make the Custard Mixture
In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- 3
Combine and Soak
Pour the custard mixture over the bread mixture, ensuring all the bread is soaked. Allow it to sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the liquid.
- 4
Bake
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 5
Serve
Let the bread pudding cool for a few minutes before serving. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
