Chocolate Piñata Ingredients
Method
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chocolate Shell
Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth. Pour about half of it into a balloon that has been blown up to a suitable size for a piñata. Swirl the chocolate around to coat the inside of the balloon, ensuring even coverage. Place the balloon in the refrigerator to set for about 30 minutes.
- 2
Create the Piñata
Once the first layer of chocolate is set, repeat the melting and coating process with the remaining chocolate to create a thicker shell. Chill again for at least 30 minutes. Once set, carefully pop the balloon and remove it, leaving a hollow chocolate shell.
- 3
Fill the Piñata
Fill the chocolate shell with churros (cut into smaller pieces), fresh strawberries, sliced bananas, and blueberries.
- 4
Serve
Place the filled chocolate piñata on a serving platter. Provide a mallet or a stick to smash it open. Serve with dipping sauces on the side for extra sweetness.
