Prepare the Dry Rub
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper until well combined.

Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs. Rub the dry rub mixture generously over both sides of the ribs. Wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).

Smoke the Ribs
Place the ribs bone side down on the smoker rack. Smoke for approximately 5-6 hours, spritzing with apple cider vinegar every hour.

Check for Doneness
The ribs are done when the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone easily. Let them rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
