1. Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice. Mix well to form a marinade.
2. Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
3. Cook the Chicken
Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and have nice grill marks.
4. Rest and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or lemon wedges.
