In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Fry the Tortillas
Carefully place one tortilla in the hot oil. Fry for about 30 seconds on each side until golden brown and crispy. Use tongs to flip.

Drain and Season
Remove the crispy tortilla and let it drain on paper towels. Immediately sprinkle with salt while still hot. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
