Chocolate Piñata Ingredients
Method
Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chocolate Shell
Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
- 2
Form the Piñata
Using a balloon, coat the balloon with a layer of melted chocolate. Ensure it's evenly spread. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until set. Repeat the process to create a thicker shell, chilling after each layer.
- 3
Pop the Balloon
Once the chocolate shell is firm, carefully pop the balloon and peel it away from the chocolate. You should have a hollow chocolate shell.
- 4
Fill the Piñata
Fill the chocolate shell with fresh strawberries, sliced bananas, blueberries, and mini churros.
- 5
Serve with Dipping Sauces
Serve the chocolate piñata on a platter with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and caramel sauce on the side.
