Main Ingredients

Trinity Herbs

Thai Basil Aioli

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Aioli

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Fold in the chopped Thai basil leaves. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Apple and Herbs

While the salmon is cooking, thinly slice the apple and chop the parsley and cilantro. Slice the green onions into thin rounds.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Dish

On a serving plate, place a grilled salmon fillet. Top with sliced apples and sprinkle with the chopped trinity herbs (parsley, cilantro, and green onions). Drizzle with the Thai basil aioli generously over the top.

  2. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with additional Thai basil leaves if desired. Serve immediately while the salmon is warm.
