Preparation of Fish

Clean the Fish
Rinse the Akamutsu under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Ensure all scales are removed and the inside is clean.

Score the Skin
Using a sharp knife, make diagonal cuts on the skin of the fish to help the marinade penetrate and to promote even cooking.

Marinate the Fish
Place the cleaned and scored fish in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Ensure the fish is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Bake the Fish
Place the marinated fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving

Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, remove the fish from the oven. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy your Akamutsu with steamed rice and vegetables.
