- 1
Prepare the Tuna
Using a sharp knife, slice the bluefin tuna loin into thin, even sashimi-style slices. Aim for about 1/4 inch thick slices to ensure a tender bite.
- 2
Prepare the Granny Smith Apple
Core and thinly slice the Granny Smith apple. You can slice it into matchsticks or thin rounds, depending on your preference. Keep the skin on for texture and color.
- 3
Mix the Negi Shio Dare
In a small bowl, combine the negi shio dare with fresh lime juice. This adds a zesty brightness to the dish. Adjust the amount of lime juice based on your taste preference.
- 4
Assemble the Crudo
On a chilled plate, elegantly arrange the slices of bluefin tuna. Scatter the apple slices around the tuna. Drizzle the negi shio dare mixture over the tuna and apple.
- 5
Add Pistachios and Season
Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the top of the tuna and apple. Finish with a light sprinkle of sea salt to enhance the flavors.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Top the dish with microgreens for a fresh garnish. Serve immediately, allowing the diners to enjoy the vibrant flavors of the bluefin crudo.
