Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all ingredients and ensure they are fresh. Slice the red onion into rings and set aside. Prepare lettuce leaves by washing and drying them thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy, around 5-7 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

  3. 3

    Season the Beef Patties

In a bowl, combine the beef patties with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Make sure to distribute the seasoning evenly on both sides of the patties.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Beef Patties

In the same skillet used for bacon, increase the heat to medium-high. Cook the seasoned beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of smoked cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  2. 5

    Toast the Brioche Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half and toast them in a separate pan or toaster until golden brown.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Smokestack

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cheesy beef patty. Add crispy bacon strips, pickles, and red onion rings on top. Drizzle barbecue sauce over the top and finish with the top half of the brioche bun.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the Smokestack burger immediately while hot. Enjoy without fries and ketchup for a smoky, flavorful experience!
