Burger Patties

Burger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Patties

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Shape Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty about ¾ inch thick.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, you may add a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato and onion into thin rounds.

  2. 6

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each hamburger bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked patty. Top with tomato slices, onion rings, pickle slices, mustard, and mayonnaise. Place the top half of the bun on the burger.
