Preparing Blackened Tuna

Mix the Spices
In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

Season the Tuna
Rub the spice mixture generously on both sides of the fresh tuna steaks.

Cook the Tuna
Add the seasoned tuna steaks to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
Preparing the Vegetable Medley

Prepare the Vegetables
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Blanch the string beans for 2-3 minutes until bright green. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add artichoke hearts, string beans, and cherry tomatoes. Season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until heated through.
Making Orange Ginger Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine fresh orange juice, grated ginger, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let it reduce for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Assemble the Dish

Plate the Components
On a serving plate, first place a portion of the sautéed vegetable medley. Top with the blackened tuna steak.
