Mango & Banana Smoothie

Method

Mango & Banana Smoothie

  1. 1

    Prepare fruit

Peel and chop the ripe mango; slice the banana. Measure out yogurt and milk.

  2. 2

Add the chopped mango, sliced banana, Greek yogurt, and milk to a blender.

  3. 3

Add honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract (if using), and ice cubes.

  4. 4

Blend on high for 45–60 seconds, or until completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides once if needed.

  5. 5

Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness: add another teaspoon of sweetener if desired or a splash more milk to thin. Blend briefly to combine.

  6. 6

Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately. Garnish with a small mango slice or banana coin if desired.

Strawberry & Banana Smoothie

  1. 7

    Prepare fruit

Hull the strawberries and slice the banana. If strawberries are frozen, no ice is necessary; if fresh, use ice cubes for chill and texture.

  2. 8

Place strawberries, banana, yogurt, and milk in the blender.

  3. 9

Add honey or agave if you prefer a sweeter smoothie, and add ice cubes if using fresh fruit.

  4. 10

Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until smooth and evenly combined. Pause to scrape down the sides if chunks remain.

  5. 11

Check texture and sweetness; add a little more milk to thin or another teaspoon of sweetener to adjust, then blend briefly.

  6. 12

Serve immediately in a glass. Optionally garnish with a strawberry or banana slice on the rim.

Chocolate Smoothie

  1. 13

    Assemble ingredients

Slice the banana and gather cocoa powder, milk, and any optional add-ins such as protein powder or nut butter.

  2. 14

Combine banana, cocoa powder, milk, and protein powder (if using) in the blender.

  3. 15

Add peanut or almond butter if using, plus honey or maple syrup to taste, and ice cubes.

  4. 16

Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until smooth and velvety. Stop and scrape down the sides once if needed to fully incorporate cocoa and nut butter.

  5. 17

Taste and adjust: add more sweetener for sweetness, more milk to thin, or an extra teaspoon of cocoa for a stronger chocolate flavor; blend briefly after adjustments.

  6. 18

Pour into a glass and serve immediately. Optionally top with a light dusting of cocoa powder or a few chocolate shavings.
