Cooking Pasta

    Boil Water

    In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.

    Cook Pasta

    Add the fettuccine pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cooking Shrimp and Vegetables

    Sauté Shrimp

    In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    Season Shrimp

    Add the shrimp to the skillet, sprinkle with paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.

    Cook Vegetables

    In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are tender. Add cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Making the Sauce

    Prepare Sauce

    In the skillet with the vegetables, reduce heat to medium-low, and pour in 1 cup of heavy cream.

    Add Seasonings

    Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and hot sauce. Mix well until the sauce is creamy and well combined.

    Combine Ingredients

    Add the cooked shrimp and drained pasta to the sauce. Toss everything together to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Serving

    Plate and Serve

    Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of fresh herbs if desired.
