Peanut Sauce
Method
Chicken Skewers
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, approximately 1-2 inches in size.
- 2
Marinate
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, coconut milk, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken pieces and mix well to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- 3
Prepare Skewers
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers.
- 4
Peanut Sauce
- 5
Mix Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, and chili flakes until smooth and creamy.
- 6
Adjust Consistency
If the sauce is too thick, add a little more coconut milk until the desired consistency is reached.
- 7
Serve
Transfer the peanut sauce to a serving bowl and garnish with additional chili flakes if desired.
