Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon fillets and gently coat them with the marinade. Allow them to marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).

Making the Lemon-Dill Sauce

  1. 3

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, chopped dill, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. 4

    Chill the Sauce

Cover the sauce and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Grilling the Salmon

  1. 5

    Grill the Salmon

Place the marinated salmon fillets on the preheated grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

  2. 6

    Check Doneness

The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and has an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve

Remove the grilled salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve the salmon warm with the lemon-dill sauce drizzled on top or on the side.
