Method

Steak Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the New York Strip steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of cooking oil.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Once the skillet is hot, add the steak. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.

  3. 3

    Toast the Brioche

While the steak is resting, toast the brioche slices in the skillet until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips. Spread garlic aioli on one side of each brioche slice. Layer spring mix and sliced steak on one slice, then top with the other slice.

Waffle Fries

  1. 5

    Cook the Waffle Fries

Prepare the frozen waffle fries according to the package instructions, either baking or frying until crispy and golden.
