Cheese Steak Egg Rolls

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

Slice the ribeye steak into thin strips and place in a bowl. Add soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Filling

In a skillet over medium heat, add some oil. Sauté thinly sliced onions until caramelized. Add the marinated ribeye and cook until browned. Add chopped bell peppers and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened. Remove from heat and let cool.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Egg Rolls

Take an egg roll wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of the steak mixture in the center. Fold the bottom up, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edges with a little water.

  4. 4

    Fry the Egg Rolls

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
