Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh rosemary. Rub this mixture all over the ribeye steaks and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Place the marinated steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips to create fries. Rinse the cut potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Ensure you have enough oil to fully submerge the fries.

  3. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the dried potato strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 4-5 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove the fries with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
