Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare Stuffed Jalapeños

  1. 1

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded pepper jack cheese, and garlic powder until well mixed.

  2. 2

    Stuff the Jalapeños

Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Fill each half with the cheese mixture, then place them on a baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Roast the Jalapeños

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and roast the stuffed jalapeños for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 4

    Season the Beef

In a large bowl, mix the ground prime rib with salt and black pepper until evenly seasoned.

  2. 5

    Form the Patties

Shape the seasoned beef into two equal patties.

  3. 6

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Make the Raspberry Jalapeño Drizzle

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan, mix the raspberry jam, minced jalapeño, and apple cider vinegar.

  2. 8

    Heat the Drizzle

Heat over low-medium heat, stirring until the jam has melted and the mixture is well combined, about 5 minutes.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 9

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden.

  2. 10

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a burger patty, followed by the roasted stuffed jalapeños, shredded cheddar cheese, pepperoncini peppers, and fresh arugula.

  3. 11

    Add the Drizzle

Drizzle the raspberry jalapeño sauce over the top, then cap with the top half of the bun.
