Prepare the Miso Glaze

Mix Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the white miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
Prepare the Salmon

Season the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Apply Miso Glaze
Brush the miso glaze generously over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well-coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cook the Jasmine Rice

Rinse Rice
In a fine mesh strainer, rinse 1 cup of jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.

Cook Rice
In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed jasmine rice and 1.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for an additional 5 minutes.
Grill the Asparagus

Grill Asparagus
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the asparagus for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and charred.
Cook the Salmon

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bake Salmon
Place the marinated salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Plate the Dish
Serve the miso glazed salmon alongside the grilled asparagus and jasmine rice. Drizzle any remaining miso glaze over the top for extra flavor.
