Burger Patties

Curried Mayo

Caramelized Onions

Method

Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and ground lamb. Add the crumbled feta cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, ensuring they are slightly larger than the burger buns.

Curried Mayo

  1. 3

    Make the Curried Mayo

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, curry powder, lemon juice, and salt until well blended. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Caramelized Onions

  1. 4

    Caramelize the Onions

In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced onions. Sprinkle with salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and caramelized.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Grill the Patties

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill the burger patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Burger

To assemble, spread a generous amount of curried mayo on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place a burger patty on top, followed by a layer of caramelized onions, fresh spinach, and a sprinkle of additional feta cheese. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
