Burger Patty Preparation

Prepare the Patty
In a bowl, combine ground prime rib, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until combined.

Form the Patty
Shape the mixture into a patty about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of the patty to prevent it from puffing up during cooking.

Prepare the Pork
In a slow cooker, combine the Berkshire pork shoulder, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cook the Pork
Cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork. Shred the pork and mix it with the sauce in the slow cooker.

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the burger patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
