Accompaniments

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Slice the Meats

Using a sharp knife, slice the prosciutto, salami, and chorizo into thin, manageable slices. Aim for around 10-15 slices of each type.

  2. 2

    Cut the Cheeses

Cut the Brie into wedges, the Cheddar into cubes, and crumble the Gorgonzola. Arrange them on the board in a visually appealing manner.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Accompaniments

Place the olives in a small bowl. Arrange the mixed nuts in a small pile. Slice the baguette into thin rounds or diagonal pieces. Place the honey and fig jam in small jars or bowls.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Arrange the Board

Start by placing the cheeses on the board, leaving space between each type. Next, add the cured meats around the cheeses, ensuring a mix of textures and colors.

  2. 5

    Add Accompaniments

Fill in the gaps with bowls of olives, jars of honey and fig jam, and a pile of mixed nuts. Place the slices of baguette around the board for easy access.

  3. 6

    Finishing Touch

Garnish the board with fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme if desired, for an aromatic touch.
