Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, season the ground prime rib beef with salt and black pepper. Form into an 8oz patty.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Bacon

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

Mac n Cheese

  1. 4

    Cook the Macaroni

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 5

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute to form a roux. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.

  3. 6

    Add the Cheeses

Once the sauce is thickened, add the smoked Gouda, white cheddar, cheddar, and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  4. 7

    Combine Mac and Cheese

Fold the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until well coated.

Burger Assembly

  1. 8

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the burger bun, place the cooked patty, followed by the crispy bacon, a generous scoop of mac n cheese, and top with sliced pepperoncini.

  2. 9

    Finish the Burger

Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
