If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste and stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well incorporated.

Add the drained pasta to the sauce in the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
