Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Peel and devein the Gulf shrimp, removing the shells and tails. Rinse them under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and mince them finely using a knife or a garlic press.

  3. 3

    Chop the Parsley

Rinse the fresh parsley under cold water, shake off excess moisture, and chop it finely.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it is completely melted and starts to bubble.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.

  3. 6

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the prepared Gulf shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

  4. 7

    Deglaze with Wine

Pour the white wine into the skillet and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the alcohol to evaporate and the flavors to meld.

  5. 8

Finish with Lemon Juice and Parsley

Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat.
