Method

Main Dish

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Meatballs or Sausage

In a large bowl, combine ground beef or sausage, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well and form into meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) or leave as sausage patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the Meatballs or Sausage

In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs or sausage and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  4. 4

    Heat the Marinara Sauce

In the same skillet, pour the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Add the cooked meatballs or sausage back into the sauce and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Garlic Bread

  1. 5

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and chopped parsley until well combined.

  2. 6

    Spread on Bread

Slice the French bread in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.

  3. 7

    Bake the Garlic Bread

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Soup or Salad

  1. 8

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss to combine.

Dessert

  1. 9

    Serve the Ice Cream

Scoop the ice cream into bowls and serve as a refreshing dessert after the meal.
