Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Fill a large pot with 4 cups of water and add 2 tablespoons of sea salt. Bring the water to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Add the Lobster

Once the water is boiling, carefully add the live lobsters to the pot, headfirst. Cover the pot with a lid.

  3. 3

    Steam the Lobster

Steam the lobsters for about 8-10 minutes per pound. For two 1.5-pound lobsters, steam for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the shells turn bright red and the meat is opaque.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Butter Sauce

While the lobsters are steaming, melt 1 cup of butter in a small saucepan. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Squeeze in the juice of 1 lemon and stir in chopped parsley.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the lobsters from the pot using tongs. Allow them to cool slightly before serving. Serve with the garlic lemon butter sauce for dipping.
