Main Ingredients

Marinade

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, black pepper, and chopped dill until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F (190°C). Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Close the lid and grill for about 6-8 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, without flipping them. The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve hot with your choice of sides, such as grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
