Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the strip steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Pan-Sear the Steak

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the seasoned steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Mushrooms and Garlic

In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes until mushrooms are golden and tender.

  4. 4

    Roast the Asparagus

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Roast in the oven for about 15 minutes until tender.

  5. 5

    Cook the Pasta

In a pot, bring water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  6. 6

    Combine Pasta with Marinara

In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce and then toss it with the cooked pasta.

  7. 7

    Serve

Plate the steak topped with sautéed mushrooms and garlic, serve alongside roasted asparagus sprinkled with cheese of your choice, and a side of pasta marinara.
