Make the Meatballs
In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Form into meatballs, about the size of golf balls.

Cook the Meatballs
Add the meatballs to the marinara sauce and simmer for 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.

Cook the Spaghetti
While the meatballs are cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine and Serve
Serve the spaghetti topped with marinara sauce and three meatballs. Garnish with additional parmesan cheese and basil if desired.
