Fried Ravioli

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, asiago, parmesan, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Stuff the Ravioli

Take each ravioli and stuff it with about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture. Seal the edges tightly to prevent any filling from leaking out during frying.

  3. 3

    Prepare for Breading

Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.

  4. 4

    Bread the Ravioli

Coat each stuffed ravioli first in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Ensure each ravioli is fully coated.

  5. 5

    Fry the Ravioli

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded ravioli in batches. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the fried ravioli from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with marinara sauce on the side.
