Chicken Parmesan Sub Ingredients
Method
Instructions
- 1
Prepare Chicken
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken breast in flour, then eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 4
Add Sauce and Cheese
Place the fried chicken on a baking sheet. Spoon the Tony's Marinara Sauce over each piece, then top with provolone cheese. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 5
Assemble the Sub
Slice the focaccia bread in half and place a piece of the chicken on the bottom half. Add more marinara if desired, then top with fresh basil (if using) and the other half of the focaccia.
- 6
Serve
Cut the sandwich in half and serve hot.
