Prepare Your Glass
Begin by selecting a lowball or rocks glass. Fill it with ice cubes to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
- 2
Combine the Ingredients
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour 1 oz of gin, 1 oz of Campari, and 1 oz of sweet vermouth.
- 3
Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.
- 4
Strain into Glass
Remove the ice from your chilled glass and strain the mixture from the mixing glass into the rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink by holding it over the glass and giving it a gentle squeeze. Drop the peel into the drink as garnish. Serve immediately.
