Preparation of Salad Base

Rehydrate the Seaweed
In a bowl, soak the dried wakame seaweed in warm water for about 10-15 minutes until it expands and softens. Drain and squeeze out excess water. Chop into bite-sized pieces.

Prepare the Vegetables
Thinly slice the cucumber, julienne the carrot, and quarter the cherry tomatoes. Thinly slice the radish to add a nice crunch.
Making the Dressing

Mix the Dressing Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and chili flakes until well combined.

Add Sesame Seeds
Stir in the sesame seeds to the dressing mixture.
Assembling the Salad

Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the rehydrated wakame, cucumber, carrot, cherry tomatoes, and radish.

Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.

Serve immediately as a refreshing side dish or chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
