Homemade Syrup Preparation

1

Make the Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine 100g of granulated sugar and 100ml of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved. Once dissolved, bring to a gentle boil for about 2 minutes, then remove from heat and allow to cool completely.

Mixing the Drink

2

Prepare the Ingredients

While the syrup is cooling, juice the 2 fresh limes into a measuring cup to obtain lime juice. You should have around 60ml of lime juice. Set aside.

3

Mix the Drink

In a cocktail shaker, add 100ml of Soho Lychee Liqueur, 50ml of Botanika Elderflower Liqueur, 60ml of freshly squeezed lime juice, and 30ml of the cooled homemade syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

4

Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch. Optionally, you can add a lime wheel on the rim of the glass for extra decoration.
