Method

Prepare Tostada Base

  1. 1

    Fry Tortillas

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the corn tortillas one at a time, frying each for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they are golden and crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Prepare Bulgogi

  1. 2

    Marinate Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ground black pepper. Add the sliced beef and mix well, ensuring all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 3

    Cook Bulgogi

In a large skillet over high heat, add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Stir in chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Remove from heat.

Prepare Porkgogi

  1. 4

    Marinate Pork

In a mixing bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ground black pepper. Add the ground pork and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 5

    Cook Porkgogi

In a large skillet over high heat, add the marinated pork and cook for about 7-10 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula until fully cooked. Stir in chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Remove from heat.

Assemble Tostadas

  1. 6

    Layer Ingredients

On each crispy tortilla, add a layer of shredded lettuce, followed by a generous spoonful of either the cooked bulgogi or porkgogi. Top with sliced tomatoes, jalapeños, and a dollop of sour cream. Sprinkle with extra sesame seeds if desired.
