Bulgogi Marinade

Method

Prepare Bulgogi Marinade

1

Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, black pepper, and chopped green onions until well combined.

Prepare Pork-gogi Marinade

2

Combine Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper until smooth.

Marinate the Meats

3

Marinate Beef

Place the thinly sliced beef in the bulgogi marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

4

Marinate Pork

In a separate container, add the ground pork to the pork-gogi marinade. Mix well and let marinate for about 30 minutes.

Cook the Meats

5

Cook Bulgogi

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is cooked through.

6

Cook Pork-gogi

In the same skillet, add the marinated ground pork. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and fully cooked.

Prepare Lettuce Wraps

7

Assemble Ingredients

Rinse the romaine lettuce hearts and pat dry. Cut them into individual leaves for wrapping.

8

Prepare Vegetables

Julienne the carrots and thinly slice the cucumber. Set aside for serving.

Serve

9

Assemble Wraps

To serve, place a spoonful of cooked bulgogi or pork-gogi in the center of a lettuce leaf. Top with julienned carrots, cucumber slices, and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
