Ingredients for Sweet Tea Chicken Biscuit
Method
Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
Marinate the chicken breasts in sweet tea for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
Coat the Chicken
In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess liquid drip off, and dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken breasts and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and let drain on paper towels.
Prepare the Biscuits
While the chicken is frying, bake the biscuit dough according to package instructions or your preferred recipe.
Assemble the Biscuit
Slice the biscuits in half, place a piece of fried chicken on the bottom half, add cheese or a fried egg if desired, and top with the other half of the biscuit.
Serve
Serve warm and enjoy your sweet tea chicken biscuit!
