Crab Cake Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, egg, chopped green onions, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are just combined. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

2

Form the Cakes

Using your hands, form the mixture into patties, about 2 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick. Place them on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.

3

Cook the Crab Cakes

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the crab cakes in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

4

Serve

Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
