Iced Tea Preparation

Brew the Tea
Boil 16 cups of water in a pot. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes depending on desired strength.

Add Mint
Add the fresh mint leaves to the brewed tea while it is still warm. Allow it to steep for an additional 3-5 minutes to infuse the mint flavor.

Sweeten the Tea
Remove the tea bags and strain out the mint leaves. Add sugar or honey to the warm tea, stirring until fully dissolved.

Cool the Tea
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.

Serve
In a glass, add ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and additional mint leaves if desired.
