Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground Angus beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread ketchup and mustard on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately with your choice of sides.
