Preparation
1. Prepare the Sugared Rim
On a small plate, spread the sugar evenly. Run a pear slice along the rim of a chilled martini glass to moisten it, then dip the rim into the sugar to coat it thoroughly.
2. Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Absolut Pear Vodka, 1 oz of pear purée, 1 oz of sweet & sour mix, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice.
3. Shake the Cocktail
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
4. Strain and Serve
Using a fine mesh strainer or the built-in strainer on the shaker, pour the mixture into the prepared martini glass.
5. Garnish
Garnish with a fresh slice of pear on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately.
