Start by boiling 12 oz of Rocky Mountain water in a large pot. This will help to sanitize it and prepare it for brewing.

Prepare the Water

Once the water reaches a boil, gradually add 0.5 cups of barley malt while stirring continuously to prevent clumping. Allow the mixture to simmer for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, add 1 tsp of hops to the pot. Continue to simmer for an additional 15 minutes to extract the hop flavors.

Remove the pot from heat and let the mixture cool down to room temperature. This can take about 15-20 minutes.

Once the mixture has cooled, sprinkle 1 tsp of yeast over the surface. Stir gently to mix it in.

Transfer the mixture to a fermentation vessel and seal it with an airlock. Allow it to ferment in a cool, dark place for 1-2 weeks.

After fermentation, siphon the beer into clean bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles with caps.

Bottling

Let the bottled beer carbonate at room temperature for another week. Then refrigerate before serving.
