Dough Preparation
- 1
Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- 2
Make Dough
In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the foamy yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- 3
Knead Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4
Let Dough Rise
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until it has doubled in size.

- 9
Bake Pizza
Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- 10

Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately scatter fresh basil leaves on top.
- 11
Slice and Serve
Let the pizza cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
