Method
Marinating the Chicken
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, honey, sesame oil, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Grilling the Chicken
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 5
Rest and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice the chicken and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
