Method
Preparing the Patties
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined to avoid overworking the meat.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the meat mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each into a small slider patty, about 2 inches in diameter.
Grilling the Sliders
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C).
- 4
Grill the Patties
Place the slider patties on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
Assembling the Sliders
- 5
Prepare the Buns
Toast the slider buns lightly on the grill for about 1 minute until golden.
- 6
Assemble the Sliders
On the bottom half of each toasted slider bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, a pickle slice, and a dollop of burger sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
